We are quite tired so we will take it slowly today.
First, down to Circular Quay. Then on the Shuttle bus to Hyde Park.
This is the ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park. We watched buskers practising with two skipping ropes. Amazing stuff!
What is on at the Australian Museum?
Now, off to the Sydney Jewish Museum via Oxford Street. Lunch for half the group at Taylor Square while the rest of the group went to the Entombed Warriors Exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW.
The Sydney Jewish Museum was confronting and interesting. Peter Nash who showed us around was a child survivor of the Holocaust. He escaped from Germany to Shanghai in 1939.
Shopping time. Some elected to go back to Paddy's Markets, others went to Pitt Street Mall.
OK. Finished with Paddy's , so walking home via Darling Harbour. We came across a busker escaping from chains and a straight jacket.
Maccas for a top up. Thank goodness for the Maccas at Circular Quay, we went there so many times.
They were giving out free bananas to passers-by at Circular Quay. Why? It was part of a promotion for the new version of the game Donkey Kong.
That brings us to what we thought would be the end of our evening. But then we walked out to the front of Circular Quay and looked at the Bridge and Opera House. What we saw would keep us out and about in Circular Quay until well after midnight. Go to the Thursday evening page.
